Tolu Lawrence is a strategic thinker, creative problem solver, brand loyalist, Nigerian mom, design disciple, and recovering lawyer with over a decade of experience working with federal policymakers, nonprofit organizations, arts institutions, and entrepreneurs to change the world one policy, product, or project at a time.
A Bay Area transplant by way of Nigeria, Iowa, and finally, Washington, D.C., Tolu has managed a successful Congressional reelection campaign, chaired the International Track of the largest HIV/AIDS conference in the United States, managed PR for ArtPadSF, served on the board of New Leaders Council San Francisco, organized a union campaign with over 150 food service workers, advised the board of Brava! For Women in the Arts, and defeated a toddler in a battle of wills.
With The San Francisco Foundation, Tolu masterminds strategic partnerships and communications to harness the power of community to expand opportunity in the Bay Area.
