Kevin Byrd
Kevin was born in Charleston, SC and received his BA in Architecture from Southern Polytechnic State University. A finalist for the Forward Arts Foundation Artist Award, Byrd has exhibited at MOCA GA, MINT and The Goat Farm. He was selected to participate in WonderRoot’s inaugural Walthall Fellowship. Kevin’s work has been exhibited at Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, THIS LA, One Twelve Gallery, MINT, Swan Coach Gallery, Hambidge’s Annual Auction, and Elevate in Downtown Atlanta. He is a Dashboard Co-Op artist and Hambidge Fellow. Most recently, Kevin created Lightworks, an intervention with “Mi Casa, Su Casa” at the HIGH Museum in Atlanta.
