Nora Khan
Nora Khan is a writer of essays, fiction, and criticism. She is a 2016 Thoma Foundation Arts Writing Fellow in Digital Art, a current Eyebeam Research Resident, and a contributing editor at Rhizome. She publishes frequently on digital art, the philosophy of technology, electronic music, and artificial intelligence, among other topics, in Rhizome, Art in America, The Village Voice, California Sunday, Conjunctions, After Us, and AVANT.
She has most recently spoken at transmediale and CTM in Berlin, UCLA IDEAS, The New School, and NYU IDM. Last fall, she spoke at the Whitney Museum as part of New Ways to See: Digital Arts Criticism Now, and at New Museum as part of Together in Electric Dreams, a panel on the future of AI she produced for Open Score.
She works frequently with artists and musicians with complementary interests. Collaborators include Katja Novitskova, Sasha Litvintseva, Caroline Sinders, Bill Kouligas, Yuri Pattison, Harm van den Dorpel, Jeremy Shaw, and Ryan Kuo.
She lives in New York.
